Militants enter home, kill father, son in Kashmir
May 28th, 2011 - 1:33 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, May 28 (IANS) Separatist guerrillas entered the home of a Jammu and Kashmir villager at night and shot the 55-year-old man and his son to death while they were having dinner, police said here Saturday.
The incident took place in Bhavan (Zachildara) village, 80 km from here, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“Militants forced their entry into the house of Lassa Dar last evening as Dar and his 30-year-old son, Manzoor Ahmad, were having dinner,” a senior police officer told IANS.
“Militants sprayed bullets from their automatic weapons, killing the father and son on the spot.”
Senior police officers have rushed to the spot and police have registered a case of murder.
