Metallica’s Hetfield sorry for making just a few albums

October 4th, 2008 - 1:42 pm ICT by IANS -

London, Oct 4 (IANS) James Hetfield, lead singer of the band Metallica, has apologised to fans for releasing so few albums throughout their career. The band has been around for over 25 years now and have only nine albums to their credit.

“We’re slow. Metallica’s clock is very slow. It’s unbelievable. Most bands hit their ninth album after 12 or 13 years. We’ve been together for 26-27 years,” Hetfield was quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.

Their latest album, “Death Magnetic”, has received positive reviews.
