November 30th, 2010 - 1:00 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Nov 29 (IANS) A Delhi-based flour merchant was hacked to death in Ghaziabad Monday night, police said. Enmity is suspected to be the motive as a large amount of cash was found on the body.
The body of Vinod Gupta, 48, was found at his rented house in Sector 10 of the Vasundhara area under Indirapuram police station.
“The assailants, before killing Gupta, enjoyed a drink with him. We are investigating the case. Prima facie it seems a murder for enmity because police recovered Rs. 125,000 from Gupta’s pocket,” Superintendent of Police (City) A.K. Vijaita said.
