Mentally unstable father burns alive two daughters
January 26th, 2010 - 12:51 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Kolkata, Jan 25 (IANS) A man allegedly burnt to death his two minor daughters in West Bengal’s Burdwan district Monday.
The police said Md. Faiaz locked his two children Tabassum, 7 and Tanu, 10, after setting them on fire in his house in Islampur.
Neighbours who spotted smoke billowing out of the house, informed the fire brigade, who broke open the door to find the two bodies. The girls were declared brought dead in the hospital.
Police said Faiaz was mentally unstable and his wife had deserted him.
