Medical student alleges ragging
September 16th, 2010 - 1:26 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS) A post-graduate student of Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) Wednesday accused her seniors of ragging her, a college official said.
The student had approached the anti-ragging cell of the college two days ago claiming that the seniors were harassing her by giving her work, the official added.
Senior officials of the medical college said the anti-ragging cell was looking into her complaint.
“It is a college issue and the administration is looking into it,” said a senior official.
Police said they have not received any complaint so far.
“A case is yet to be registered,” said a senior police official.
