MCA student commits suicide
September 10th, 2010 - 9:14 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Sep 10 (IANS) A student pursuing a master’s degree in computer applications (MCA) committed suicide by hanging himself in his bedroom at Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad, police said Friday.
Police said Ashok Singh, a first year student of the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) in Ghaziabad was found hanging from a ceiling fan Friday morning.
When Ashok did not come out from his room, his mother peeped into the room and saw him hanging. She then informed the police.
Superintendent of Police A.K. Vijaita said: “We have registered a case. No suicide note was found in the room. Our investigation is on.”
