MBA student lured young women — to rob them
May 11th, 2011 - 10:33 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 11 (IANS) An MBA student was arrested allegedly for luring young women through SMS on the pretext of forging friendship and then stealing their valuables, police said Wednesday.
Jaffar Hussain, 28, was arrested from Jamia Nagar in south Delhi Monday.
“He used to lure young girls by sending them SMSes for friendship. After befriending them he used to steal their valuables,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Chhaya Sharma said.
Hussain was having more than 100 mobile phone numbers of girls and was in regular contact with about 50 of them, according to police.
Hussain, a resident of Mewat district in Haryana, had married in February but kept his wife in Mathura to keep her in the dark about his activities, police said.
