MBA student commits suicide
November 4th, 2011 - 10:42 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 4 (IANS) A 27-year-old MBA student, the daughter of a former director in the social welfare ministry, committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of her apartment in the capital, police said Friday.
Sonali Nautiyal was residing at Brotherhood Apartments in west Delhi’s Vikasupuri area with her family.
“The incident took place around 9 a.m. Friday when Sonali committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of the apartment building,” said a police official.
According to police, the woman, who was upset over some issue, had gone to the US to pursue her MBA six months ago and returned to the capital a month ago.
No suicide note was recovered from her possession, said police.
“She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead,” said the officer.
