Martial law in Georgia

Tbilisi (Georgia), Aug 9 (DPA) Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili Saturday declared martial law in Georgia in the wake of escalation of the conflict in South Ossetia. Saakashvili made the announcement after a decision taken at a meeting of the country’s national security council.
