Maoists torch vehicles, thrash ex-legislator’s relative
September 1st, 2010 - 3:26 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Sep 1 (IANS) Maoists torched three vehicles and thrashed a relative of a former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) legislator in Jharkhand’s Latehar district Wednesday, police said.
About 20 rebels raided Barihatu village, around 140 km from here, and set three cars on fire by sprinkling patrol on them. They later beat up an uncle of Prakash Ram, a former RJD legislator , a police officer said.
