Maoists set truck on fire
November 26th, 2010 - 9:40 pm ICT by IANSRaipur, Nov 26 (IANS) Maoists Friday set a truck on fire on a national highway in Chhattisgarh’s restive Bastar region, police said.
About 30 Maoists intercepted the truck loaded with coconuts in Dantewada district and set it on fire near Sukma, some 440 km south from here.
The truck was on its way to Korea in Chhattisgarh from Andhra Pradesh.
Dantewada is located on the southern tip of Chhattisgarh and is one of the Maoist bastions.
