Maoists kill villager for being ‘police spy’
September 21st, 2010 - 10:09 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Sep 21 (IANS) Maoist rebels shot dead a man in Jharkhand’s Khuti district Tuesday. charging him with being a police informer, police said. Two others were killed there for the same reason Sunday.
According to police, Maoist rebels belonging to People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) killed a person at Gullu village, around 45 km from Ranchi. Police recovered a pamphlet near the body terming the killed man as a police informer.
The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained.
