Maoists kill man for being police informer
November 17th, 2010 - 2:49 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Nov 17 (IANS) Armed Maoists Wednesday dragged a man out of his home and killed him in Orissa’s Malkangiri district after accusing him of being an informer, police said.
Ganga Madkani, 32, was killed when over 20 guerrillas dragged him out of his home in Malkangiri district’s Gotakunda village, about 600 km from here, and shot him dead, police said.
After killing him, the armed men disappeared into a nearby forest leaving a leaflet saying that Madkani was a police informer.
