Maoists kidnap cop in Odisha
May 8th, 2012 - 4:08 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, May 8 (IANS) Suspected Maoist guerrillas Tuesday abducted a police officer from Odisha’s Nuapada district, police said.
Assistant Sub Inspector Kruparam Majhi was kidnapped near Budhas village in Nuapada district, about 550 km from here, Deputy Inspector General of Police Soumendra Priyadarshi told IANS.
He was abducted from a spot about 15 km away from a paramilitary force camp, the official said.
