Maoists blow up panchayat godown in Orissa
October 23rd, 2010 - 3:17 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Oct 23 (IANS) About 30 Maoists early Saturday blew up an empty panchayat godown in Orissa’s Malkangiri district, police said.
“The rebels blew up the godown at Niliguda village using land mines,” police officer Debashis Mishra told IANS over phone.
The district of Malkangiri, some 600 km from here, is considered a Maoists stronghold.
