Maoist surrenders in West Bengal
December 20th, 2011 - 9:21 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Dec 20 (IANS) A Maoist guerrilla Tuesday surrendered in West Bengal’s West Midnapore district, police said.
Subodh Hasda was active in the Jhargram area, especially in Binpur. Hasda surrendered at the Jhargram court, said Superintdent of Police Gourav Sharma.
In the last few months several Maoists have surrendered in the state after the Trinamool Congress government announced a revised rehabilitation package for the ultras.
