Maoist held, bomb defused in Jharkhand
May 28th, 2011 - 7:27 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, May 28 (IANS) A Maoist was arrested and a bomb packed with 20 kg explosive was recovered and defused in two separate incidents in Jharkhand’s Khuti district Saturday, police said.
According to police, the improvised explosive device (IED), or a locally made crude bomb, was recovered from bushes near Mosanga jungle of the district. It was defused by the bomb disposal squad.
Police arrested Vipin Sahu, a guerrilla of the People’s Liberation Front of India, from Moranga village in the district.
