Maoist commander arrested in Jharkhand
June 26th, 2010 - 7:20 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, June 26 (IANS) A Maoist commander was arrested in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district Saturday, police said.
According to police, Pradeep Mahto, an area commander of Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), was arrested from Salga village of the district, around 130 km from Ranchi. Mahto was wanted in more than 14 cases by the police.
A rifle, some live cartridges and Maoist literature was seized from the arrested rebel.
