New Delhi, Jan 12 (IANS) Contrary to reports, Mani Ratnam’s much-talked about film “Ravan”, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, is not based on the epic “Ramayana”, said a source.”The film has nothing to do with the epic ‘Ramayana’. It’s an urban story,” the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Ratnam is trying to keep the story under wraps and is taking precautions while shooting. First he shot the film in the jungles of Kochi and now he is stationed in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

Arjan Bajwa catches chill after Delhi visit

“Fashion” star Arjan Bajwa has returned to Mumbai with a chill after he visited the capital recently for a friend’s wedding.

“I was in Delhi for one of my close friends’ wedding and it was so cold that even my bones were chattering. Still it was amazing fun. I am a Delhi boy but since I have been in Mumbai for so long, it affected me and I have come back with a chill,” said Arjan.

Now back in Mumbai, the actor is missing the “love and warmth of people” and waiting for his next trip to Delhi.

Suniel Shetty is very fatherly: Shweta Bharadwaj

Actress Shweta Bharadwaj, who is working with Suniel Shetty in his forthcoming film “Loot”, says the actor-producer behaves like a father figure on the sets of the movie.

“Suniel is a very sweet person. He is very fatherly. He makes sure that everyone is comfortable on the sets,” Shweta told IANS.

The “Mission Istanbul” actress added that apart from being calm and composed, Suniel is a “big prankster”.

“I kept fearing that he will play a prank on me. Even when he was saying something serious, I kept hoping that it’s not a prank,” she said.

Rimi Sen jealous of Shaurya Chauhan?

Bollywood actress Rimi Sen was apparently miffed when co-actor Shaurya Chauhan got to wear glamorous and sexy clothes as opposed to her own sari-clad look in Nana Patekar-starrer “Horn Ok Pleassss”.

While Rimi is playing Nana’s wife in the film, Shaurya plays a young sexy girl in love with Rocky, played by model-actor Muzamil Ibrahim and she just wears skimpy clothes.

Even though Rimi has played a double role in the film and got to wear western clothes for her other character, her look is subdued in comparison to Shaurya.
