Man, two sons held for killing daughter’s lover
May 8th, 2011 - 12:30 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 7 (IANS) A man and his two sons were arrested in south Delhi for killing a 20-year-old man who was allegedly having an affair with his daughter, police said Saturday.
Bachnu Prasad, 55, and his sons Laxman Kumar, 22, and Pintu Kumar, 19, were arrested Thursday from Vasant Kunj area.
“They murdered Pradeep Paswan and dumped his body, after removing his clothes, in an old mine in Rajokari forest area in south Delhi Monday,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Chhaya Sharma.
Pradeep’s decomposed body was recovered by a police patrol Thursday.
“During interrogation, Bachnu Prasad said that Pradeep had an affair with his daughter despite his objection. On Monday night he heard his daughter and the victim talking over mobile phone and came to know that Pradeep would come to his house by jumping over the boundary wall,” Sharma said.
“He along with his two sons overpowered Pradeep when he entered their house and strangled him,” said the official.
