Man stabbed in road rage
October 28th, 2011 - 11:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS) A 30-year-old man was stabbed by three people, including a juvenile, here in a road rage case, police said Friday. The victim is recovering in hospital.
Varun Oberoi and his wife Pranavi were visiting their relatives in west Delhi when the incident occurred late Thursday.
Oberoi and Pranavi were driving in their car when a minor riding a motorbike overtook them at high speed. He grazed their car, lost balance and fell on the road, a police officer said.
Oberoi got out to help the biker when suddenly two of the minor’s friends reached the spot.
After a heated argument, a scuffle broke out and Oberoi was stabbed in the abdomen.
Dinesh Singh and the juvenile are in police custody while the third accused is still at large.
