Man shoots himself over failed love affair
October 13th, 2011 - 12:33 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 12 (IANS) After a failed love affair, a young dance teacher committed suicide Wednesday morning by shooting himself with a pistol at his house in east Delhi, police said.
Akash Sharma, 20, left behind a suicide note at his West Vinod Nagar house, indicating a failed love affair, police said.
The incident took place around 1 p.m. and the pistol that he used belonged to his uncle Jagan Sharma, a resident of Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh.
“According to the suicide note, Akash was in love with a girl and was frustrated over the failed affair,” a police officer said.
After clearing his Class 12, Akash taught dance at a private institute in Shahdara and also ran a mobile phone shop in Mandawali.
