Man robbed off Rs.400,000 in Noida
February 10th, 2010 - 1:11 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Noida, Feb 9 (IANS) The cashier of a security agency here was robbed off Rs.400,000 by two unidentified assailants while he was travelling on his motorcycle Tuesday evening, police said.
Sajan Kumar, the cashier of Om Sai Security Agency in Sector-63, was carrying Rs.400,000 in a bag while riding his two-wheeler. At around 7.45 p.m., two robbers on a motorcycle intercepted him near the Sector-66 crossing, snatched the bag containing cash and fled, a police official said.
Kumar informed his employer and the police about the incident. He told the police that he was carrying the cash for disbursement of the staff’s salary.
“We have registered a case and the culprits would be arrested soon,” said Superintendent of POlice (City) A.K. Tripathi.
