Man robbed off Rs.4 lakh in Ghaziabad
July 21st, 2011 - 12:25 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, July 20 (IANS) Two unidentified men on a motorcycle Wednesday robbed a stamp vendor here of Rs.4 lakh in cash, police said.
Prabhu Dayal was cycling to the treasury when two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch his bag. When he resisted, the men fired at him. Though he escaped the shot, he lost his grip over the bag.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 2 p.m. near Nehru Stadium.
