Man robbed of Rs.250,000 in Noida

Noida (Uttar Pradesh), March 27 (IANS) Two motorcycle riding criminals Thursday looted nearly Rs.250,000 in cash from a man who was coming from a bank in Uttar Pradesh town of Noida. The incident occurred at sector-18, the commercial hub of Noida, on the border with Delhi.

Anand Sharma, a transport operator and a resident of Ghaziabad, withdrew cash from a Syndicate Bank branch here. As he stepped out of the bank, two criminals on a motorcycle snatch the bag containing cash and fled. The Uttar Pradesh police are investigating the incident.
