Man robbed of Rs.20 lakh
March 12th, 2011 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 12 (IANS) Two men on a motorcycle robbed a businessman’s security guard going to a bank to deposit Rs.20 lakh, police said Saturday.
“The security guard was going to the bank to deposit Rs.20 lakh when the two bike-borne assailants stopped his car and robbed him at gunpoint,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Meenu Choudhary told IANS.
The incident took place at Lawrence Road in north Delhi at around 11 a.m., he said.
The victim, Bhawani Singh, works for Sunil Goyel, who owns a flour mill, added Choudhary.
