Man robbed of car on highway
April 18th, 2011 - 11:30 am ICT by IANSChandigarh, April 18 (IANS) Three unidentified men robbed a man of his car at knife-point on the Chandigarh-Ambala-Delhi Highway in Punjab’s Mohali district, police said Monday.
The victim was identified as Parveen Rana, a resident of Chandigarh.
“I was coming back from Dera Bassi town after dropping my sister at a nursing college. I stopped my car on the roadside to ease myself when a man came to me and asked some address,” said Rana.
“In the meantime, another man took the keys out of my car. When I tried to catch him, their third accomplice, who had a knife, attacked me,” Rana added.
