November 5th, 2011 - 1:20 am ICT by IANSRanchi, Nov 4 (IANS) A man committed suicide by hanging himself after killing his wife and two children in Jharkhand’s coal city Dhanbad Friday, police said.
According to police, Krishna Mandal, 35, killed his wife, Lalita, and two-and half year old paralysed daughter Lakhi Kumari and one-year-old son Vijay by strangulating them with a towel. Krishna then committed suicide by hanging himself.
Financial crunch is said to be the reason of the suicide. According to neighbours, the financial condition of Krishna was not good and he was not able get his paralysed daughter proper medical treatment.
Police sent the bodies for post-mortem.
