Man kills wife in Delhi
June 24th, 2011 - 9:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 24 (IANS) A 49-year-old man killed his wife Friday in east Delhi, suspecting that she was having an illicit relationship, and later confessed to his crime, police said.
Rajjo Devi, 40, was living in a rented accommodation with her husband Sadhuram, who works in a factory, in Harsh Vihar.
“Rajjo was Sadhuram’s second wife and they were married about five years ago,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain said.
“We have arrested Sadhuram. During interrogation, he said he had suspicion about his wife’s character,” said Jain
Sadhuram has nine children from his first wife. “His first wife and kids live separately,” said Jain.
