Man kills self by jumping off fifth floor of hospital

- New Delhi, Oct 15 (IANS) A 20-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital, police said Thursday.
According to police, the victim, Ravi, tried to end his life twice.
“We received a call at around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Ravi had an altercation with his mother Usha. While his mother consumed poison, Ravi jumped off from the third floor of his residence,” a senior police officer.
“The duo were brought to the hospital. After nearly half hour, he jumped off from the fifth floor of the hospital. The condition of Usha is stable at present. No suicide note has been found,” the officer added.
Ravi lives with his wife Pragya and mother Usha and was engaged in the real estate business.
