Man killed in vehicle collision
February 13th, 2011 - 12:07 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 12 (IANS) A 22-year old man was killed when the vehicle he was in was hit by a speeding bus in north Delhi Saturday, police said.Prem Singh was on his way to Jahangirpuri in north Delhi in Mahindra pick-up carrying vegetables when the vehicle was hit by the Haryana Roadways bus at the Mukundpur traffic lights.
Passers-by informed police who arrived at the spot to find Singh lying in a pool of blood, said a police officer. He was taken to the Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital where doctors declared him dead
The driver of the bus managed to flee from the spot. The bus has been impounded and a search is on for the driver.
