Man killed in Delhi
November 18th, 2011 - 3:09 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 18 (IANS) A middle-age man was shot dead near a railway station in north Delhi while he was returning home, police said Friday.
Vidya Sagar, 40, was returning from Samaypur Badli to his nearby home when some unidentified assailants shot him in the head and twice in the back near Badli railway station.
“We received a call at around 11.45 p.m,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police B.S. Jaiswal.
Sagar, who worked as a supervisor at a factory, was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained as he was not robbed.
Sagar’s father Sukhbir Singh told police his son had no personal enmity.
