Man jumps from building, dies (Lead)
April 27th, 2011 - 8:46 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 27 (IANS) A 51-year-old man who worked as a messenger in the Indian foreign ministry committed suicide Wednesday by jumping off the 11th floor of his office here, police said.
Dinesh Pandey died instantly as he leaped from Akbar Bhawan, which houses some departments of the external affairs ministry, in the Chanakyapuri area. He died instantly, police said.
An officer said the man was in depression and undergoing treatment. He hailed from Uttarakhand and lived in Netaji Nagar, a colony for government employees.
On Tuesday, a 58-year-old man died after jumping from the seventh floor of a building here.
