Man involved in 30 criminal cases held
July 31st, 2010 - 9:44 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 31 (IANS) A man allegedly involved in more than 30 criminal cases, including for murder, dacoity, extortion and carjacking, in the national capital region (NCR) was arrested near Sarai Kale Khan bus stand here Saturday, police said.
Ravi Kumar, 27, was arrested on a tip-off received by the police Thursday.
“We recovered one country-made revolver, along with three live cartridges, from him,” a police official said.
“His interrogation revealed that his gang used to hide in Nepal after committing crimes in the NCR. Ravi had come to Delhi to gather information for a robbery planned by them,” the official added.
