Man held with Rs.3 million in Jamnagar

Jamnagar (Gujarat), Aug 7 (IANS) A man carrying Rs.3 million in Indian currency has been arrested from the Jamnagar-Khambaliya road in Gujarat. Malde Deva Chavda, a resident of Jamnagar, was riding his motorcycle when he was taken into custody Wednesday night. He told the police that the money was being delivered to Sajan Pitha Barai of Khambaliya.

Malde said that every month he received nearly Rs.10 million from Dubai for delivery to Sajan. The police have detained Sajan and his father Pitha Channabhai for questioning.
