Man held with pistol at Metro station
November 2nd, 2011 - 10:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) A man from Uttar Pradesh was arrested for carrying a home-made pistol while entering a Delhi Metro station in west Delhi, police said Wednesday.
“Jamurudddin, who is in his early 40s, was caught and his pistol was seized at 6 p.m. Tuesday when he tried to enter Kirti Nagar Metro station,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police B.S. Gujjar.
Jamurudddin wanted to take the Metro to Dilshad Garden from where he intended to go back to his home in Meerut.
