Man held with explosives in Chhattisgarh
February 26th, 2011 - 11:09 pm ICT by IANSRaipur, Feb 26 (IANS) A person was arrested Saturday in Chhattisgarh’s Janjgir-Champa district with a huge amount of ammonium nitrate and detonator sticks, police said.”One person has been arrested and investigation is underway to gets details how huge stocks of ammonium nitrate were piled up in a house,” sources here at police headquarters told IANS. The arrested man belonged to Rajasthan.
The officer added that a raid was carried out based on specific intelligence inputs and the police team recovered at least 200 detonator sticks besides ammonium nitrate stock at Birgahni village, some 200 km from here.
