Man held with ammunition outside Nitish meeting in Bihar
July 9th, 2012 - 4:03 pm ICT by IANSPatna, July 9 (IANS) A man was arrested with six live cartridges Monday in a security check outside a public meeting of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar here, police said.
The man, a resident of Siwan district, around 145 km from here, was also carrying a gun in his vehicle parked outside the ‘janata darbar’ or public meeting, Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Amrit Raj told reporters.
“Bihar police chief Abhyanand held a meeting with top police officer after the man was arrested,” a police officer said.
