Man held for killing business rival
November 17th, 2011 - 10:19 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 17 (IANS) A 27-year-old man was arrested for abducting and killing a business rival here, police said Thursday.
Pawan Kumar Phougat, who hails from Sonepat in Haryana, was arrested from Kashmere Gate Inter State Bus Terminus Wednesday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Chand.
Phougat and his elder brother Anil and five associates - Shakti, Dalbir, Munish, Devender and Pradeep - kidnapped Trilok, 35, on Nov 12 and killed him.
Phougat and Trilok ran mini buses under the Gramin Sewa scheme between Nangloi and Bahadurgarh in west Delhi. Phougat developed business rivalry with Trilok and had several rows.
After kidnapping him from Mundka in west Delhi and killing him, his body was dumped in a canal.
