July 25th, 2012 - 9:52 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 25 (IANS) Sick and tired of seeing his mother beaten by his father, a young man slit the throat of his father, police said Wednesday. The man has been arrested along with his mother.
Danish, 24, was arrested from the Nizamuddin railway station Tuesday night.
He told interrogators that his father, Sabruddin, 50, used to cast aspersions on his mother’s character and thrash her almost every day.
On Tuesday afternoon, when Sabruddin abused his wife Naima, 45, Danish lost his temper and slit his father’s throat with a knife.
He then fled the house. Police arrested him after realizing that his mother was trying to mislead them by saying that the murder was committed by a relative.
