Man held for attempt to murder
January 15th, 2012 - 12:14 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 14 (IANS) A 22-year-old man was arrested in west Delhi for allegedly trying a murder a man, who had accused his brother of theft, police said Saturday.
“Aakash Yadav, 22, was arrested for alleged involvement in firing on complainant Rajesh Friday afternoon,” said police.
“During interrogation, Yadav revealed that Rajesh had levelled an allegation of theft against his brother Vikas, thus he had decided to teach him a lesson,” police said.
Rajesh was injured when Yadav and some other men came to Khera village in Najafgarh area and opened fire at him.
Police have seized the pistol and the vehicle used in the incident.
