Man framed in rape case seeks Rs.4.62 crore relief
March 28th, 2011 - 10:39 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 28 (IANS) The Delhi High Court Monday issued notice to the Delhi Police chief and the Delhi government on the plea of a man seeking compensation of Rs.4.62 crore for being framed in a rape case in 2006.
Justice Ajit Bharihoke said: “Issue notice to the respondent number 1 (Delhi government) and respondent 2 (police chief) and list the matter on July 8″.
The court also issued a notice to the then SHO (station house officer) of the Hari Nagar police station.
