Man found stabbed to death
January 22nd, 2011 - 11:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS) The body of a 23-year-old man, bearing multiple stab wounds, was found in a forested stretch in south Delhi, police said Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay, an electrician by profession and resident of Uttam Nagar in west Delhi.
“Some passers-by called the Vasant Kunj police station at around 6:30 p.m. Friday. We rushed to the spot in the Rangpuri hills and found Sanjay lying there in a pool of blood,” said a police officer
The body was sent to the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences for post-mortem.
“It seems Sanjay was killed over personal enmity and his body dumped at the spot,” said the officer.
Police is investigating the matter and quizzing all the people related to the deceased. “No arrest has been made so far and till now there are no suspects,” the officer added.
