Man found dead in mysterious circumstances
April 12th, 2011 - 10:25 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 12 (IANS) A 24-year-old man was found dead in mysterious circumstances by his parents at the family’s home here Tuesday morning, police said.
Raju was discovered lying unconscious at the gate of his house in Karawal Nagar area of east Delhi.
“His parents rushed Raju to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. His body was sent for a post-mortem examination,” a senior police officer said.
“There were strangling marks on the neck. It is not clear whether he committed suicide or was murdered,” the officer said.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot, he added.
However, Raju’s father Shiv Charan alleged that his son was murdered.
Raju was bleeding and there were injury marks over his body when he found him lying unconscious at the gate, Shiv Charan said.
Raju worked as a tailor at a private company while his father works at a printing press.
