Man falls from highrise, dies
April 26th, 2011 - 5:23 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 26 (IANS) A 58-year-old government employee died after falling from the seventh floor of a building in south Delhi Tuesday. No suicide note has been recovered from him, and police are investigating if some foul play was involved behind his fall.
Ramakant Sahai fell from the seventh floor of a building in Bhikaji Cama Place around 11 a.m. He worked as a peon in the revenue department of the finance ministry, located on the fifth floor of the same building.
“He was immediately rushed to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) by some eyewitnesses, but succumbed to his severe head injuries,” a police officer told IANS.
The officer added that no suicide note was recovered and investigations were on to find out how he fell from the high-rise.
