Man crushed to death
January 7th, 2012 - 11:55 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS) A 38-year-old unemployed man was found dead on a road in south Delhi early Saturday police said.
The man, found lying in a pool of blood in front of NBCC Plaza road at Pushp Vihar in Saket, was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where doctors declared him dead.
“Initially, it was looking like murder as the victim had received injuries at various parts of his body. But after investigation, we found that the victim identified by his first name, Rohtas, had been crushed to death,” said a police official.
The deceased, unemployed and unmarried, was living with his father, Babu Lal, at Madangir in south Delhi.
“A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered and hunt is on to nab the culprit,” said the official.
