Man commits suicide in south Delhi
March 20th, 2010 - 10:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 20 (IANS) A 26-year-old man allegedly committed suicide after consuming poison in front of his girlfriend’s house in south Delhi early Saturday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Rahul Goel, ran a coaching institute in Haryana’s Karnal town, around 60 km from here.
“Yesterday (Friday), Goel came to Delhi to meet his girlfriend who lives in Gautam Nagar. It was around 3 a.m. when he reached her residence and there he consumed some poisonous substance,” a police officer said.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died, the officer said.
No suicide note was found from his possession, he said.
