Man commits suicide in Delhi
March 3rd, 2011 - 1:01 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 2 (IANS) An autorickshaw driver who was depressed over a marital discord with his wife committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his east Delhi house, police said Wednesday.
“The body of Tek Chand, 26, a resident of Ashok Nagar, was found hanging in his room by his neighbours Wednesday morning,” said a police officer.
“He had a bitter relation with his wife, Rekha, over his drinking alcohol. Rekha left him to stay with her parents,” said the officer.
Chand was under depression for last few months due to discord with Rekha.
