Man commits suicide after wife’s death
January 28th, 2012 - 12:51 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS) A 28-year old man allegedly committed suicide hours after his wife’s death in the capital, said police.
Police said Satya Narayan Gupta allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance hours after his wife, Madhu Gupta, was declared dead around 6 a.m. Friday in a hospital after she consumed poison Thursday night.
The couple had got married around two and a half years ago and has a one year old child. An enquiry has been initiated in the matter.
A senior police official informed that no suicide note was recovered from the victims and the reason behind their step is not known.
