Man commits suicide after being tortured
January 13th, 2012 - 1:19 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Ghaziabad, Jan 12 (IANS) A 25-year-old man, working as a private tutor in Ghaziabad near Delhi, committed suicide after being allegedly tortured by his uncle and cousin, police said Thursday.
Ashish Mishra, originally from Madhubani in Bihar, was staying with his aunt in Uttarakhand colony in Nandgram. He left home Wednesday night and did not return. His body was found Thursday morning on the Delhi-Meerut railway track near DPS School Ghaziabad.
Police recovered a suicide note his pocket that was addressed to his parents.
In the note, Mishra named his cousin Sanjay and uncle Adesh for torturing him.
Circle officer Praveen Ranjan Singh said Sanjay has been arrested.
